This is an onsite position. 

 

The Senior Desktop, Server and Network Support Technician will be responsible for: 

• Both reactive and proactive work within the client portfolio both remote and onsite 

• Planning and implementing projects 

• Analysing client environments and recommending improvements according to best practice 

• Advanced knowledge and experience in resolution of workstation and server software and hardware issues as well as networking and peripherals 

• Building and Maintaining Servers, including Hardware, RAID, Hypervisor, OS (AD, DNS, DHCP), Roles and applications 

• TS/RDS Environments 

• Scripting ability including but not limited to PowerShell 

• Networking configuration as well as advanced knowledge of TCP/IP and ability to resolve complex networking issues. 

• In-depth knowledge of LANs and WANs 

• Demonstrated experience in firewall configuration and troubleshooting 

• Ability to setup and maintain AV and Backup Solutions 

• Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, and Azure 

• VOIP 

• Minimum 5 Years Experience 

 

The Junior Desktop, Support Technician will be responsible for: 

• Both reactive and proactive work within the client portfolio both remote and onsite 

• MS Windows and MS Office 

• M365 & Azure 

• Networking / WiFi 

• General Troubleshooting 

• Advantageous  

• Scripting ability 

• Networking Knowledge 

• Firewalls 

• VOIP 

• Minimum 2 Years Experience 

 

REQUIREMENTS 

• Matric 

• Further qualifications an advantage (MCSE, CCNA, Diploma, etc) 

• Valid Drivers Licence and Own Car 

 

Salary R20k – R40k depending on experience and qualifications
